RCBO (Residual Current Circuit Breaker with Overcurrent protection) is a kind of comprehensive circuit breaker which can provide overcurrent protection and residual current protection. 3、 The RCBO can cut off the circuit.
When the RCBO detects that the overcurrent or residual current exceeds the set min value, it will quickly cut off the circuit to ensure personal safety and protection of electrical equipment. Cutting off the circuit is very fast, usually within a few milliseconds, thus reducing any potential danger.
The working principle of the RCBO relies heavily on its internal circuitry and sensing devices.
Among other things, overcurrent protection is achieved by a sensing circuit that monitors whether the current exceeds the rated value. If the current exceeds the rated value, the sensing circuit triggers a mechanism that cuts off the circuit.
